An octogenarian who has spent decades planting roots in the country shares insights on attitude and adaptability.
WHEN Nanupillay Sivarajan Nair’s daughter told him they were going on a road trip three months ago, little did he know that it would take him on a journey down memory lane.
The octogenarian, Kerala-born but now a proud Malaysian residing in Negri Sembilan, did not imagine that they would be visiting Kota Baru (KB), the town where he spent a large part of his life after he arrived in Malaya in 1938 as a 15-year-old.
After Sheela Nair and her father had put their bags away, they headed for the hospital at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM, KB campus), where he served as a certified radiographer after receiving radiography training in England.

    Org dulu dulu nak training x-ray kena g London. Bukan sonang nak jd X-Ray Man.
